To my dear friends,are we usd to english or singlish? Singlish is always used,but it also depends.Sometimes,we tend to use it an uaapropriate time.The only time people always use singlish is when talking tro younger people outside and also talking to our friends.So,remember,our use of english is lesser than singlish.Try not to use singlish too much as it may afect your may it be workor study.

1]yes,i use singlish for jokes and sometimes i use it for panicking to explian something and some times i went overboard of saying singlish.

I use Singlish during school days, during my recess and also when I'm talking to my friend.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that it is bad to speak Singlish because it is also a Singapore culture.
I try not to use it but when I'm talking to my friends,I accidentally speak Singlish.

I have used Singlish in school and tuition sometimes. I think Singlish is bad because if we talk with foreigners in Singlish, they will not understand what we are talking about. I always try not to speak in Singlish but I accidentally sometimes speak in it. I will try my very own best not to speak in Singlish.

1)Yes.I use singlish when i am chatting with my friends in school sometimes and at home.

3)I will try not to speak singlish at class but sometimes it is very hard not add singlish at the end of a sentence .i will also try to speak singlish at a correct time and place

3) The government should not be too concern of Singaporeans speaking Singlish. It is a special feature of Singaporeans. The Singlish I use is usually: La, Li, Lo, La, Wah Lao Eh, Wah Sia Eh, huh, Sia La and many others.

Yes i used it everytime.No if singlish is bad then we will not be able to commuinicate with other Singaporeans.If we do not speak singlish example: when we go to hawker centre we order hokkien mee without oil or chilli not overcook the stall holder will not understand.The singlish words i usually used are:lol,lah,lei,sei,siao,sia and many more so i prefer using singlish.

3.i think they should not speak singlish because we should learn english and if we speak singlish people would laugh at us for speaking singlish.

2.I think speaking singlish is not so bad after all....Singaporeans do speak singlish too! Singlish is a better form of way for me to communicate with other people. At least they can understand what am I talking about the thing i am saying.
3.These are the word that i say in singlish (I dunno leh,ne'ermind la,haiyo!don't anyhow say things la!) These are the words that i say it in singlish and many more!

I use singlish during recess or sometimes during class except malay lessons.(almost everytime).
ReplyDeleteI think speaking singlish is a bad habit as practicing english helps you understand better and help your exemanations alot more easier.
I belive that english is a subject that people have to be excellent at as it will help them in school or whenthey are working.
